Agricultural land properly managed can be a great investment. An equity fund manager of mine once said that land just sits there and it doesn’t need any attention. Not true. Farmland produces food and fiber for a growing world population. This requires disciplined, intense management. Done correctly this is a desirable asset for your portfolio.
